Seven unique performances in which music and shadow theater meet to preview the new album of a singer-songwriter who has always pursued the infinite possibilities of sound, words and art.
Infinite Possibilities for Finite Beings is the title of Giovanni Truppi's new album produced by Marco Buccelli and Niccolò Contessa and due out in the spring on Virgin Music Las/Universal Music Italia.
And it is also the name of the special seven-date tour, organized by Ponderosa Music & Arts, in which the artist will present a preview of his new artistic project to his audience.
Not a classic concert, but a real journey inside the new album that will see Giovanni Truppi flanked by his partner Marco Buccelli. An unmissable opportunity to immerse yourself in the plots of the story told in the new album by the Neapolitan singer-songwriter, in which the songs are inextricably linked to each other and intertwine with the visuals created ad hoc by Unterwasser, in a surprising union between image and sound.

MOTIVATION
Established in 2014 by three talented artists, Valeria Bianchi, Aurora Buzzetti and Giulia De Canio, Unterwasser is a puppet theater company that has been able to develop its own personal poetics, which is expressed in a variety of registers, from shadow theater to puppet manipulation. Evident in their shows are the signs of an attention to contemporary figurative art (from Mondrian to Calder, up to Shultz's comics), combined with an artisanal taste for the construction of objects, often minimal, to which they know how to instill tenderness and poetry. Underlying their shows, mostly without words (but with an accurate soundtrack, also made up of noises or natural sounds) ethical instances are captured, which seem to find in the pure image a happier and more effective communicative value than that offered by the verbal language. The choice of the three artists to remain visible on stage as they maneuver the light sources and objects by hand, whose shadows overlap and dramaturgically interact with the profiles of their own faces and bodies, seems to translate into an image one of the most ingenious verbal synthesis ever formulated on the profound identity of the theatre: the make-up and the soul.
